Due to working with Eamonn, I actually feel that my financial future is much more secure.
Hi, my name is Sharon Major. I’ve been a client of Palantir for about two and a half years now, and my adviser is Eamonn Prendergast.
I got in touch with Palantir because I felt I had a big decision to make. I was looking at whether I should move my pension with my employer and reinvest it or leave it where it was. And you only get to make that choice once, so I wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing.
I heard about Palantir through a friend, so I wanted a personal recommendation because you’re buying the person, not just the service. So, I wanted someone who had already worked with an adviser to give me a recommendation. So, that’s how I initially got in touch with Eamonn.
The reason I wanted to work with Eamonn was because I felt that he invested so much time in us. Nothing that we asked was too silly or too trivial; he answered all of our questions. He spent a lot of his time before we even signed up with him investigating the issues that we had and putting forward a plan for us. Once we read the plan, we thought, “Yes, this guy has really listened to what we’ve said and has picked out the bits that are really important to us in terms of the flexibility that we needed and the challenges that we have.”
Working with Eamonn makes me feel that I’ve got someone who is available and accessible and that I can speak to and use as a sounding board about how our problems change over time. It gives me that bit of confidence. When I have an idea, I discuss it with him, and he talks me through the pros and cons of it. So, it’s really helpful to have that professional advice available.
Due to working with Eamonn, I actually feel that my financial future is much more secure. When you set out with an initial discussion with someone, you’ve got a certain set of circumstances, and then over time, things can change, and I feel that he’s always up to date with the latest information and ready to listen to any other changes we might want to make. So yes, I feel quite confident.
The three things that come to mind when I think about Eamonn are that I’ve got someone who’s really helpful and knowledgeable that I can call on when I need to, someone who gives very sound advice and pros and cons to help me think through a problem, and someone who’s friendly, available, and very responsive.
The best thing about working with Eamonn is that I feel that I’ve got someone in my court ready to help me whenever I need it.
The best piece of advice that he’s given me is not to make any snap decisions or shoot from the hip on anything. It’s about taking a longer view, rather than making any changes in the short term that you might regret.
I definitely would recommend Eamonn. He gives very sound and helpful advice, he’s very responsive, and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to any friends or family.
